There was a three way tie for first place in the 2011 McGuire Challenge. Randy Hough (2026), Dave Matson (1991) and
Matthew Hayes (2009) all scored 5/6. A total of 60 players took part in the tournament.
Frank Wosczyna gained 44 rating points and Tim Deng gained 43 points. Both of these gains were eclipsed by Diana Zhou (1188) who
gained a massive 150 points. Diana beat two class A players in arguably her best ever tournament result.
The next tournament is the Bill Smith Memorial, which will start on Monday, July 11.
