Bio

I began chess in the days when Tigran Petrosian was World Chess Champion and later the era of Bobby Fischer. My older brother and I joined USCF and played in a local club long gone in Montclair, CA. Once he went off to college and dropped chess, I had to also. Then at 30 years of age, I am now 55, I took the game up again at the now closed Upland Chess Club and later the Arcadia Chess Club. My job as a security guard pulled me from Arcadia but I kept in touch in chess through the Internet and correspondence games. Now here in 2012, I am back home playing the game I love! My other hobbies include quite a different activity---Karaoke singing. I love singing song like "Brick House" or "Whip It" by Devo. See you on the chessboard. :-)
