Bio: Greetings one & all,....I am 77 now, however i didn't learn chess 'till nearly 40. Back in Riverside, Randy showed me a great deal. I am'was a jazz musician so on the way to my job a would play a few games with Mr. Hough.......By getting trounced fairly regularly i managed to play somewhat. I went from 1330 something to 1997. It has dropped to 1705 because i'm very inconsistant......I have won games from a few Masters, then can easily lose to a 1400. My one chess claim to fame is i have wins over nearly all the US Womens champions, starting with Gisela Gresser (80 years young at the time), Alexsey Root, in a Riverside County tournament, Jennifer Shahade when she gave her simul in Pasadena.....Let's face it, i still love women! Best regards, Jerry (Gerald) Harrison. PS I still play piano......once in a while.
